Follow along on a 12 day public land DIY Oregon archery elk hunt. This hunt proved that putting a great plan together prior to the season really makes a difference. Joseph and Steve Raudenbush put on well over 100 miles on foot and climbed over 20,000 vertical feet during this trip. They also moved units to avoid pressure from other hunters and that proved to be the ticket! Having multiple areas e scouted prior to their hunt was crucial to their success.
